Three days Warli Art workshop commenced for GEM Participants in NTPC Solapur on 17th May 2023. The purpose of the workshop is to introduce girls with this simple yet worldwide recognised and exhibited art form and also connect their Maharashtrian roots preserving the cultural heritage.

Warli painting is a traditional tribal art form that originated in the Warli region of Maharashtra, India. It is one of the oldest forms of Indian folk art and has a rich cultural and historical significance. 

They are appreciated for their simplicity, intricate symbolism, and the portrayal of the tribal way of life.
